everything began back in 1997

From the spare room in their house, Ged and Karen created the Art File. Founded on the values of design-rich, quality cards, The Art File blossomed over the years into an award-winning brand. Their son, James, joined the company, and it continued to flourish. Today The Art File is an award-winning publisher, supplying retailers and the public with incredible cards, wrap, stationery and gifts.

we create sustainably

It's important to us to create design-rich products that are also sustainable. For that reason, all the materials for our products are sustainably sourced and everything we sell on our website is plastic-free. We will always work to become more sustainable both with our products and as a company.

design begins with us

We're very proud to have a brilliant team of eight in-house designers who create a huge portion of our products. Alongside our talented team we have a brilliant array of licensed artists who we work with. Together they create our award-winning card, wrap, stationery and gift collections.

We give back to the community

We're proud to support many amazing organisations and charities through our work. Giving back is very important to us and we're always looking to do more. From protecting habitats and animals, to funding vital medical research, we do what we can to help animals, people and the planet.
