Today The Art File cards are sold worldwide through a broad band of design-inspired retailers which include leading high-street names and an array of excellent independent stores. Many of our collections are created by our talented in-house design team although we also work with some highly skilled freelance designers. This combined resource allows us to constantly refresh our offer and stay ahead of developing trends and contemporary fashion.

Based in the historic lace market area of Nottingham, where the business was created in 1997, The Art File has become a well-known brand within the greeting card, social stationery and gift packaging world.

At The Art File, we believe passionately that we should produce as many of our products in the UK as we are able to. We use the finest materials and the latest printing techniques available to create beautiful cards and stationery which have true quality and uniqueness to them.

We operate at the highest standard of sustainability and ethics. We are proud members of SEDEX, who are worldwide auditors on ethical welfare for workforces, and all of our greeting cards, gift bag and gift wrap are sourced from sustainable forests.

All of our cards are offered naked and plastic-free, with all of our greeting cards and gift wrap collections being fully recyclable.
